Craft and Cultural Route

Various craft and cultural activities can be viewed in and around Piet Retief.

On the Wakkerstroom Road, 17 km out of town , the candle factory " K3 " can be viewed on the Röhrs Guest Farm.

Back on the N2 one can visit " Bakenkop Job Creation " where Zulu women do fabric painting.

Further along the N2 take the " Dusk to Dawn " turnoff to visit the ladies of    "   Imbali Handraft "  on the farm Wagendrift . Handmade embroidery is for sale at Dusk to Dawn.

A selection of items from the above craft centres is always on display and for sale at the Green Door Coffee Shop.
