Description

Mooipoort is a 3101-meter course for men and 2553 meters for ladies, featuring 18 holes, 29 separate T-boxes (for ladies and men), and 18 greens. It is situated northeast of Pretoria on the R573 / Moloto Road, within the Roodeplaat / Dinokeng meander. The golf course was established about 18 years ago and changed hands in March 2008. The new owners have managed to improve the greens and fairways to a good standard. Mooipoort offers a licensed clubhouse where tired golfers can relax at the pub. There are also braais so golfers and their families can enjoy a relaxing day with a typical South African braai. The clubhouse can also be booked for more formal functions of up to 200 people.
